Cinescare is Growing!

Hey all! First, sorry once again for the weird spam emails. I’ve been working on my website this past weekend, and I have had a devil of a time straightening out a new template. Unfortunately, I activated the template too soon (twice), which released all the fake posts in the templates as if they were new posts. So, those of you who subscribe to my newsletter/website were inundated with several ‌bizarrely written emails. Hopefully, it wasn’t too frustrating for you and you could get a chuckle or two out of it. I believe I’ve gotten most of this stuff sorted, so we should be good for now.

CINESCARE!

If you haven’t checked out Cinescare Horror Podcast yet, you’re missing out. I’ve been co-hosting Cinescare with my buddy Joe Janz and our Superfan sidekick, Marc Pyskaty, for the better part of the past year and a half. It’s been an absolute blast and I’m happy to say that our little show has grown leaps and bounds, with thousands of downloads and an increasingly active Facebook fan group called Cinescare Horror Movie Fans! There are some great discussions happening over there, so join the group.

Every two weeks we bring you a new episode, each focusing on a specific movie or franchise in the horror genre. We also review and discuss new release horror movies and TV shows, avoiding spoilers as much as is humanly possible. Sometimes we have guests too—authors, actors, directors, you name it. If it’s horror, we’re on it! Seriously, it’s an entertaining way to spend your commute time as, if I ‌say so myself, we’re pretty damn funny. So head to Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, or your podcast app of choice and search for Cinescare Horror Podcast.

Also, check out www.cinescarehorror.com for more content and to check out our merch. There are some really cool t-shirts and other items designed by Mr. Joe Janz, and the proceeds go towards our hosting, recording, and other expenses.

Writing UPDATE: Yes, I know. I know. I’m slacking on the Bettendorf Tales. I’m getting to it, I promise. I’ve just had a lot on my plate and frankly, I’ve been avoiding writing for a while now. Sunnycrest Woods, part 3 of the series, is on its way—I promise! When? Now, that I cannot say, and don’t want to give any more false hopes, so I’ll just leave it at this: I’m working on it.

My other novel, tentatively titled The Last House, is currently under consideration at a publishing house, so keep your fingers crossed on that one! Hopefully, I’ll have good news to share before too long.
