UPDATE: Devils Glen on Kindle Scout!

Hi, everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. I know it’s been a while since my last post and there’s a lot that has happened in the meantime. It’s been a very busy Fall.

First, I got married, as most of you probably already know. It was an amazing day and a lot of fun. Michelle and I are as happy as we can be, though the time does seem to be racing along. I’m bringing her with me to Iowa for Christmas!

And, oh my, the Cubs winning the World Series was the icing on the cake. Like other Cubs fans, it was something I had dreamed of my whole life. Now that it’s happened, it remains hard to believe. I’m still in pinch-me mode.

Finally, some exciting news about Devils Glen! This Wednesday, I begin a campaign for a program called Kindle Scout, through Amazon. If selected, Kindle Press will publish and promote the digital version of Devils Glen. Given the huge number of people who buy books online, having Amazon’s marketing power would be a huge win.

And the exciting part is, YOU get to help!

On December 7, I will post a link which will take you to the campaign page. If you have an Amazon account, you can click on that link and nominate Devils Glen. Popular vote won’t be the only determining factor but it will help, so let’s get as many people on it as we can. The campaign phase will last for thirty days, after which time Kindle Press will make a decision.

When you vote, you will get to see an excerpt of the first twenty pages of the book!

So look out for my post on Wednesday, and thank you in advance for your support. Please leave comments or questions below, if you have any.

UPDATE:  It looks like the campaign begins 12am eastern time, so I will post the link as soon as it opens.
